The International Trade Award - presented by RBS

The winner of this award will be a company, which has shown a marked increase in its international activity over the last 12 months. Applications should be supported by evidence of increased international business, together with a summary of the strategy that resulted in this successful growth.

What the judges are looking for:

  • Evidence of quality and innovation in the applicant's marketing strategy
  • Overall company commitment and management excellence
  • International trade growth achieved and the ability to sustain that growth
  • Contribution to regional development
  • Ongoing financial viability

    • Entrants are welcome from all sectors.

    In addition to assessing the merits of the specific activity/activities you have carried out, the judges will be looking for:

  • Commitment to international trade
  • Evidence of versatility, imagination and persistence
  • Increased export or import turnover
  • Sales into new markets
  • Innovative product / service being exported or imported
  • Training of staff in winning and delivering import / export business

    • Eligibility

    Any company headquartered or having a major operating base in Devon or Cornwall.
